This powerful, intelligent metal detector will help you find treasures that have been both lost and missed by the generations before you.
The following information comes from our own experience with the Minelab Eureka Gold and is meant to help those who are thinking about getting one for the first time as well as those who already have one.

The Minelab Eureka Gold comes with a 10” Double ‘D’ coil that contains two ‘D’ shaped windings and is perfect for locating deep targets.
The Double ‘D’ coil provides you with a detection pattern as you search that is “blade like” and is sensitive from tip to heel. This allows you to pinpoint your targets easily because you can cover more ground with each sweep, with almost zero overlapping!
Minelab likes to boast that the Eureka Gold is like having three detectors in one, and we completely agree. The Eureka Gold features three frequencies for you to work on to provide you with the ultimate gold prospecting experience. The 6.4 kHz frequency is for locating targets at their maximum depth, it goes deeper to find the larger nuggets. The 20 kHz frequency is more sensitive, perfect for finding small nuggets and general detecting. Finally there is a 60 kHz frequency which detects the smallest gold flake with its super sensitivity.
We were really impressed with the Eureka Gold’s ability to search for treasure underneath highly mineralized soil. Minelab’s “Accu-Trak,” digital, ground balance features two switchable recovery speeds. This keeps your treasure hunting from being restricted as you move over different areas and types of terrain. Even better – it allows you to find more gold, faster and easier than with any other detector.
