The ACE 150 is very affordable and comes with a Garrett PROformance 6.5 x 9” coil & 9"x12" Rhino PROFormance coil. The following information comes from our own experience with the ACE 150 and is meant to help those who are thinking about getting one for the first time as well as those who already have one.
The ACE 150 features the Three-Tone Audio Discrimination, which will alert you to different treasures with different tones. Because it has a ¼” headphone jack on the control panel, almost any stereo-type headphone-set can be used with the ACE 150. But this is only where the features begin!
This detector is easy-to-use but still provides you with the high performance handling you should expect from Garrett products. Thankfully there are no complex settings or adjustments to make, and you should find the 3 pre-programmed notched search modes intuitive. With its spot-on graphic target ID, impressive discrimination mode with four sensitivity settings, and three depth levels, the ACE 150 is a purchase you won’t regret making.
