We’re Friends Who Love This Hobby Metal Detectors for Less was born after four treasure hunting friends spent almost 30 years on sites all over the world hunting for treasure. We were frequently asked “What are you doing?” as we walked over all kinds of terrain searching for targets, and after explaining the joy, excitement, and descriptions of treasures found, many people wanted to know where they could get their own metal detector. Since we were all familiar with all different kinds of metal detectors, either from our own tried and true experience with a brand or from being employed at metal detector distributors, we offered some good advice for people; where they could find the best detector, and more importantly, the best price for their needs. After years of passing our favorite hobby on to friends and acquaintances we decided to do the same for anyone who wants to get the best detector at the best price.
